Wood therapy: what to really expect session by session

No exaggerated promises. Here is what happens in session one, four and eight, and when the change starts showing.

Wood therapy has become popular, and with popularity came impossible promises. Let us set realistic expectations.

Session 1. We take measurements: waist, hips, thighs. We work at medium pressure so the body adapts. You will probably leave with reddened skin and feel the area the next day like after a workout. That is normal and a good sign.

Sessions 2 to 4. We increase intensity. This is where hardened adipose tissue starts to give. Around the fourth session most people notice two things: clothes fit differently and skin feels firmer to the touch. We measure again.

Sessions 5 to 8. The change is now visible in the mirror, not just on the tape measure. Contour defines and skin texture clearly improves. This is where consistency decides everything: two sessions a week deliver far more than one.

Sessions 9 to 12. Consolidation. The result stabilizes and we move to a maintenance plan of one session every two or three weeks.

What wood therapy does not do. It does not replace nutrition or movement. If the goal is weight loss, wood therapy sculpts, it does not slim. We say this upfront in the first consultation because we prefer a client with clear expectations over a disappointed one at session six.

What genuinely multiplies results: drinking plenty of water the same day, walking thirty minutes after the session, and not letting more than five days pass between appointments.

The best time to start was a year ago. The second best is today.
